Having a little fun

Hi.  Thank you all for your
wonderful comments and I'm thrilled
to see so many participating in the
giveaway.  This is fun for me too.
I'm so happy the freebie is a hit
and I hope you enjoy stitching it as much
 as I did.
xxxxx
I thought I'd have a little fun today.
I had the camera out and snapped
some pics from around the house
while I was straightening up.
A few of my pride and joy
possessions.
 xxxx
And a finish to show you.
I have wanted to stitch this for such
a long time now and finally pulled the
chart out from my to do list.
It's by Chartmakers and is
called PA Stitcher's Sampler.
Since I was born, raised and live
in Pennsylvania, I kind of have a
fondness for things that were
made in PA.
I decided to put a tea stained muslin border
around it rather than have it framed.
It will make a cute table mat and I love
that there is so much blank space to
the sampler.  Gives me a place
to put small items on it and not
block the stitching.
Happy Sunday!
~Nan

I can see why those pieces are your favorites. I've always wanted a scale like that and yours is one of the best I've seen. Darling sampler!

I thought exactly the same thing about your new sampler finish; the "negative space" is great for adding treasures for a sweet vignette! Love the tour of your treasures. ;)

Gorgeous pictures Nan, I do love the patchwork you made!
The PA sampler is fabulous, a lovely idea to use it as a mat, sometimes I do wonder what to do with my needlework:))
